It’s October, overeager fall leaves are beginning to crunch underfoot and most high school seniors and transfer students have college applications on the brain. In this entry, you’ll find answers to a few of our most commonly asked questions about Wentworth’s application process.
When you’ve clicked “Send” on whichever application you choose to apply with we hope you’ll feel this great:
If any of your questions aren’t answered below, feel free to post your questions in the comment section or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Which Application is Best? While visiting high schools in the Fall prospective students always have questions about the best way to apply to Wentworth. The short answer is that all of the applications are weighted equally, it’s all about which application is the best fit for your needs. If you plan to apply to several schools, the Common Application might be best for you, but if you only plan to apply to Wentworth, filling out our application is the best option.
Is there a deadline for filing my application? We are rolling admissions and our priority filing deadline is February 15, 2015.
How does the 3-week decision work?We typically issue a decision within 3 weeks to completed applications (meaning we have all of the supporting documents i.e. test scores, transcripts, recommendation, etc). If we cannot make a decision within that time-frame, we will be sure to follow up with you via email about what additional information we are in need of to render you a decision.
I’m taking the SATs again later in the fall and am confident that I will get a higher score. Should I still apply early? If you indicate that you are taking a future SAT on your application, and we need those SAT scores to make a decision, we will wait until we have your new SAT scores.
