Meet our Team!

Alisha Sarang-Sieminski
Executive Director
Alisha brings to Wentworth nearly two decades of experience in higher education with expertise in faculty development and student-centered experiential learning. Alisha also holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from MIT.

Steve Cortes
LMS Administrator/Academic Technology Business Analyst
Steve, a lifelong Mission Hill resident, has been a marketing professional with years of experience in consumer and customer facing roles, developing marketing programs, and working with various learning management systems.

Carolyn Giroux
Instructional Designer
Carolyn has a PhD in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan, as well as a MA in Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University and a BA in Individual Studies from the University of Connecticut. She has more than 15 years of experience as an educational researcher, teacher trainer/instructor, curriculum developer, and educator.

Josh Larson
Director of Digital Transformation & Academic Technology Services
Josh Larson is the Director of Digital Transformation and Academic Technology Services. A Wentworth alumnus with a Master’s in Project Management, he has served in roles from AV to User Services to IT leadership over the past decade. He chairs the IT Steering Committee, contributes to several AI working groups, and helps colleagues find the right technology for the job. A lifelong musician and D&D storyteller, he brings the same creativity and collaboration from those passions into his professional work.

Josh Luckens
Instructional Designer
Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College and a Master of Arts from Emerson College. He has over 15 years of experience as an educator, learning designer, and faculty developer.

Lara Olsen
Instructional Technologist
Lara has a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from West Virginia University. She has over 15 years experience delivering technology training and 5 years in training management, with expertise in integrating educational technology for both in-person and virtual learning.

Sarah Walkowiak
Instructional Designer
Sarah has over 15 years of experience in higher education and K-12 in instructional design, faculty development, online learning, academic technology, and privacy roles. Sarah has a Master’s degree in Professional Communication, a Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Scientific & Professional Communication (Computer Science focus), an Advanced Cybersecurity Certificate, is a Quality Matters (QM) Certified Higher Education Peer Reviewer, and serves on WIT’s Digital Accessibility Committee.
