Meet the Faculty Fellow for Teaching and Learning Innovation

Hariharan Naganathan
Faculty Fellow and Associate Professor in Construction Management
Dr. Hariharan Naganathan is the Faculty Fellow for Teaching and Learning Innovation at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He works with faculty across the institute to support practical improvements in course design, teaching practice, and student learning.
In this role, Dr. Naganathan collaborates with faculty to explore, test, and refine instructional approaches through structured conversations, peer exchange, and pilot efforts. His work includes convening faculty sessions, highlighting effective teaching practices, and documenting classroom strategies that can be adapted across disciplines.
In collaboration with ATLAS, he formed a faculty advisory group with representation across schools and programs at Wentworth to provide regular input on teaching and learning initiatives and to surface instructional needs from different academic contexts. He focuses on turning ideas into practices that can be implemented within existing courses and academic processes.
Teaching and Learning Advisory Council
The Teaching and Learning Advisory Council supports and informs the work of the Faculty Fellow and ATLAS by engaging in regular conversations to shape priorities and share practices from each school, promoting teaching-related events and opportunities within their schools, representing their schools and collaborating on projects that advance teaching and learning goals, and providing input on ATLAS and Faculty Fellow initiatives.
