Check out the Future – the New Library!

We are proud of the launch of the Douglas D. Schumann Library & Learning Commons! The new Schumann Library is the culmination of a major library renovation, with generous support from a $5 million gift from alumnus Douglas D. Schumann.

On Friday, September 30th, the Wentworth community honored the 242 donors and community partners, and dedicated the new library space. Here are some photos from the event.

Architects from Perkins + Will designed the renovated library, incorporating technology integrations, collaboration spaces, and a variety of new seating options to support the academic and information needs of the Wentworth community. With input from students, consultation with library staff and campus stakeholders, a thoroughly modern and functional library now opens its doors to create a hub for the Wentworth campus.

Congratulations, Wentworth, on the new library!
