What is WEHS?

The Wentworth Engineering Honor Society (WEHS) is an active group of engineering students who have proven their commitment not only to their academic pursuits, but also to their communities.

Mission Statement:

The Wentworth Engineering Honor Society recognizes high-achieving students from all engineering disciplines at Wentworth Institute of Technology.

The WEHS:

  • Recognizes those who have displayed distinguished scholarship and exemplary character while at Wentworth or as alumni;
  • Provides leadership and development training and opportunities for its members;
  • Promotes lifelong learning and member involvement.

The Wentworth Engineering Honor Society was formed as a first step in forming a Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society Chapter at Wentworth. As such, the mission of WEHS is modeled after the Tau Beta Pi and their mission statement.
