A number of Wentworth Co-op students are working for the organizations involved in the library renovation.
Today, we feature Rodney Pinkham, a Construction Management major who is on co-op at Consigli Construction Company, the renovation project’s construction manager.
Q: What have you learned from your involvement on the Schumann Library Renovation and/or from working as a co-op at Consigli Construction Company?
A: I’ve learned that team work and communication are key to a successful project. Keeping everyone on the same page and meeting up to go over details is very beneficial, and makes for a smooth project.
Q: What are some of your favorite memories from your time in the library at Wentworth?
A: I can remember late nights studying for finals, meeting with other students for group projects, or stopping by between classes to get some work done.
Q: What do you think is the most exciting part of the renovation project for Wentworth students?
A: I believe a lot of the excitement related to the new library will be over having a new place to study, gather with friends, work on a group project, or just relax between classes. I think a big part of that is the modernized atmosphere the new library will bring. There’s also a sense of pride as a Wentworth student, having such a nice place on campus where you can find a variety of resources.
Thanks, Rodney!
