The Leopard Legacy: Wentworth Class Photographs 1923-1927

Promotional image for "The Leopard Legacy" exhibit, featuring a historic photograph of Wentworth Hall. The text reads: "The Leopard Legacy: What did Wentworth graduates look like 100 years ago?" and invites visitors to compare the historic photos of graduates to their own classes.

“The Leopard Legacy: Wentworth Class Photographs 1923-1927” is now on display in the Gray Wall gallery of the Douglas D. Schumann Library. The five photographs on display picture graduates in each class from 1923-1927, and represent fields of study that evolved into what are now the five Schools.

Created in collaboration with the Wentworth Institute of Technology University Archives, this collection of photographs is meant to connect current Wentworth students to students who graduated 100 years before them. How can current students identify with previous graduates? How has Wentworth grown as an institution in the last 100 years? These are all questions that viewers can explore when viewing these photographs.

“The Leopard Legacy” is on display August 1-October 10, 2023. Click on the images below to view.
