Building on a prolific career, Wentworth President Zorica Pantic in January received the District 1 Chief Executive Leadership Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
The honor stands out among numerous accomplishments for Pantic, who was a Fulbright fellow and founding dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio before she became the first female engineer to lead a higher education institution of technology in the United States.
CASE District 1 encompasses the New England states, Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces in Canada.
Recognizing outstanding contributions to a campus community, the Executive Leadership Award is presented to individuals who promote public understanding of education and support advancement on their campuses. Recipients must have demonstrated the ability to raise their institution’s stature in the community while leading it to high levels of success.
