While their fellow college spring breakers were relaxing and maybe taking in some rays, two Wentworth student groups spent their week giving back. As part of the Alternative Spring Break program, 14 students headed to the Florida Everglades to weed out invasive plant species. Another 14 students headed to New Orleans to rebuild homes in the Ninth Ward—an area still in shambles since Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005. In both spots, students waded through some unexpected debris.
