As of June 30, 2020 Wentworth will be discontinuing it’s subscription to GoToMeeting/GoToTraining/GoToWebinar. To permit users to transition to our new teleconferencing solution, Zoom, we are notifying faculty and staff in advance of the Summer Semester so you can schedule training to help in your transition.
We will be holding Zoom training at the following times:
- Best practices for using Zoom for remote teaching (includes securing the session, polling, breakout rooms)
What does this mean for you? If you currently use Zoom for teaching your remote or online courses, continue on.
If you currently use GoToMeeting, follow these instructions to activate your Wentworth Zoom account and attend training to learn how to use this new tool. If you have recordings saved in the GoToMeeting cloud that you want to retain, you will need to download them before June 30th. Log into your GoToMeeting account and in the My Meetings Section. you will want to download any that you want to keep and store them on appropriate storage. Depending on your planned use, that storage might be your Wentworth OneDrive account or on Panopto.
