VoiceThread and Storytelling – Tuesday, October 2, 7:00pm
Most cognitive scientists agree that storytelling is a great way to help your message stick in the minds of an audience. Our minds are fine-tuned to remember information shared within a narrative structure, not a broadcast lecture. In this workshop, participants will learn how to use VoiceThread to create engaging stories with their students.

The Basic Training Webinar is designed for new users and beginners who would like to learn how to use the Panopto software. These webinars will cover creating, managing, and editing sessions as well as navigating the Panopto interface.
Instructor Training for LockDown Browser & Respondus Monitor: Prevent Cheating During Online Exams – Thursday, October 11, 2:00pm
This comprehensive training webinar is intended for instructors who plan to use LockDown Browser and/or Respondus Monitor with online exams. The session provides a detailed demonstration of both applications, including new enhancements that make Respondus Monitor even more effective and easy to use.

Faculty Drop-In Midterm Grading and Support
The LIT team will be around in October for Faculty Drop-ins for Midterms. LIT is holding these drop-in sessions to assist faculty with using Blackboard to send grades to Banner. As always, we are also happy to answer any other pedagogy, Blackboard or instructional technology related questions, as well as meet with faculty individually and visit any department meetings on request.
