Bob Flannery, hon. ’10, 100-yearold New Hampshire resident, received an honorary Doctor of Engineering Technology degree at the May 16 Commencement Convocation ceremony.

1942

Burton Landry, EC, was named a charter and lifelong member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, Chapter 11, which he joined in 1963.

1950

Joseph G. LaBonte, S&EMO, is 91 years old and still healthy. He owned and operated LaBonte Enterprises and also worked at several other constructionrelated businesses. Joseph and his wife just celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.

1952

Charles Kennedy, MW&TM, is enjoying his retirement. He is in good health and staying active by skiing, hiking, working on wooden boats, and woodworking.

1958

Shahe Guleserian, AC, is enjoying being “semi” retired.

1960

Paul Hitchcock, AM 64, was employed for a number of years after graduation working with avionics, predominantly with autopilots and flight directors for commercial and business aviation. Following this, he was employed by Kearfott Guidance & Navigation, now known as Kearfott Corporation, in Wayne, NJ, as a field engineering specialist, where he finished his career. There, he had oversight of computercontrolled test equipment used in final testing and alignment of components in the United States Navy Trident Missile Guidance System, which is used in submarines in Cape Canaveral, FL, and other sites throughout the country. It has been launched and is in the first line of defense for the United States.

George Larned, CHE, retired from his position as a supervising engineer, specializing in expressway design and construction, with the Connecticut Department of Transportation. After graduating from Wentworth, he earned a B.S. from the University of Hartford, a life membership with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and a certificate from the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). He is now a reservist with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, working on infrastructure restoration following 17 major disasters from Maine to California. He is also writing his third book, to be titled Connecticut’s Memorable Bridges, under the name Larry Larned.

1961

John Seaberg, BC, is retired and living in Bonita Springs, FL.

Jan Stenberg, EEE, worked for Digital Equipment and Honeywell after graduation, relocated to Tuscaloosa, AL, in 1968, and finally to Greenville, SC. He spends July of each year in Maine, and over the last 18 years, he has travelled extensively throughout the southern United States, as well as Canada, Mexico, and the British Isles. In 1987, he joined Greenville Technical College as department head for their electromechanical diploma program; he applied for and received associate degree status several years later. Before his retirement in 2006, he grew the program to over 150 students with day classes, night classes, and special certification programs for local industries. He has two children and five grandchildren. He says he has joyful memories of 1969’s calculus class and will never forget the fine education he received from Wentworth. John Kett, EE ’67, EES, recently accepted a position at Draper Laboratory, located in Cambridge.

Paul Laslie, BCS, spent 30 years in the building construction technology field and earned a degree in technical education from the University of Southern Maine. He has taught Construction Technology at Southern Maine Community College for the past seven years.

1977

Thomas Allaire, CC, entered the Army in 1980, retired in July 2007, and is now working for the Pentagon as a senior logistics management specialist. He has been married for 25 years and has two boys, ages 21 and 17. He would like to hear from his good friends Jack Doolan, Rich Zinzer, and Joe Britton.

William Brunner, MD, MDS, recently accepted a position as a managing attorney at Bellavia Gentile & Associates, LLP, in Parsippany, NJ.

Daniel Rosenblatt, BCC ’86, AET ’86, AEC, has attained Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) status.

James Poirier, AST, TMC, was promoted to senior vice president at Citizens Bank in Providence, RI.

1992

James L. Costa Jr., CMC, is engaged to Diana A. Oliveira and plans to marry in September. He is employed by CCO Mortgage (also known as Citizens Bank).

John Radziszewski, EEE ’88, EEW, is retired from the United States Coast Guard as a commander after 23 years of active duty.

Amy Colleran, AET ’91, AEC, recently joined Donahue Real Estate Company in Dedham as a real estate sales associate.

1996

Matthew Peacock, AET ’94, AEC, has accepted a position as an estimator and project manager at Capital Restoration, Inc., in Hartford, CT. He was previously employed as a project manager at William A. Berry & Son, Inc.

1997

Dennis Georgatos, AET ’85, AEC, has been promoted to project executive at Skanska USA Building, Inc. In this role Dennis will serve as the point of contact during construction. He will be responsible for the technical and managerial leadership of projects and the oversight of subcontractor support resources.

Kevin Moquin, AET ’94, ARC, along with colleague Tony Cowles, was presented with the Award for Excellence at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Maine annual meeting. Their entry in the AIA Maine Ideas Competition ’09 was Community Waterslide FacilitiesEast End, Portland, ME.

Chad St. Pierre, BARC, has completed all of the architectural registration exams and is anxiously waiting to take and pass the California Supplemental Examination.

2001

Jonathan Simberg, BEET, ACOT, married Amy Beaudette on October 11, 2009, in Flemington, NJ.

Michelle Allaire, BCMT, AAET, was recently hired as a building information modeling manager for Walsh Brothers, Inc., a Boston construction management firm. She will lead all of Walsh Brothers’ virtual construction efforts, implementing and directing projects from initial concept through completion. She will also serve as a resource for field personnel and oversee the incorporation of building information modeling on all projects.

2002

James Lipcon, BCT, is engaged to Meghan Sliney and plans to marry in August 2010.

Corey Repucci, BCET, and Hillary Repucci are proud to announce the birth of a baby girl, Annabelle O’Shea. She was born on January 6, 2010, in Boston and weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz. Though she was born three weeks early, she is doing well, and both parents have been able to get some sleep.

2005

Lynne Panagotopulos, BINT, was recently elected as the United States Green Building Council’s National Emerging Green Builders’ upper northeast representative. She will hold the committee position for a two-year term on behalf of New England and upstate New York. Lynne is also LEED AP certified and is a founding chair of Connecticut Emerging Green Builders.

2006

Dustin White, AELM ’03, BELM, earned his gold dolphin Submarine Warfare Insignia, one of the Navy’s three major warfare pins. He is stationed at Pearl Harbor.

Eli Young, BMET, and Tricia Young are proud to announce the birth of a baby girl, Hannah Lee. She was born on January 21, 2010, in Portland, ME, and weighed 8 lbs.

Alysia (Hoque) Murray, BCOS, and Troy Murray, BARC, are proud to announce the birth of a baby girl, Willow Iris Murray. She was born on December 4, 2009.

Ryanne Bradshaw, BINT, is an adjunct faculty member at Wentworth and just finished teaching her second semester of Revit 2009 for interior design majors.
