Wentworth was inducted into the Massachusetts Building Congress (MBC) Hall of Fame in October for its legacy of contributions to the building industry and the surrounding community.

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by the Massachusetts Building Congress as an inductee into the Hall of Fame,” said President Zorica Panti?. “As Wentworth continues to prepare and train students to become tomorrow’s leaders in construction management and related fields, including civil engineering technology and architecture, we are fortunate to have strong industry ties to—and the active participation by— many companies as part of the education students receive at the Institute.”

The Institute was praised by the MBC for having trained generations of leaders in the design and construction industry.

“Wentworth is universally admired for its community service and civic engagement,” the MBC said. “The Institute is one of the design and construction industry’s best resources for advancing practice knowledge in the profession.”

As part of the 88th annual dinner gala, the MBC also inducted two firms into their Hall of Fame: Bond Brothers, a fourth generationled construction company, and J.C. Cannistraro LLC, one of the largest family-owned, privately-held mechanical contracting firms in the nation. The 2009 induction class brings the total number of honorees in the MBC Hall of Fame to 10.
