This week is highlighted by one of my favorite Wentworth traditions: the fourth annual Wentworth Expo hosted by the Center for Student Engagement. The Wentworth Expo was created to allow students to showcase their hard work in and out of the classroom to the greater Wentworth community.
The reasons I love the event is that it allows our students to be the focal point for the night. Many of our students are successful in their classes but the Expo gives the campus a chance to see other places that our students shine. Outstanding students as members of clubs, groups who competed in competitions, presented original research, or created a new product have a chance to show their friends, family, faculty, and staff a different side of their Wentworth experience.
This year 22 groups will be highlighted on Wednesday, March 16 from 4pm-6pm in Watson Auditorium. We’ll be having refreshments so please stop by to support your fellow students and congratulate them on their achievements.
