Each year, April 15 will serve as an opportunity to celebrate the resiliency, generosity, and strength demonstrated by the people of Boston and those around the world in response to the tragedy of April 15th, 2013. Wentworth is joining in this day with a variety of activities. A list of the activities are below.
Show your Boston Pride
Students are encouraged to wear their Boston gear!
Faculty and staff who wish to wear their Boston gear and/or sneakers can make a $5.00 donation to the Student Emergency Fund. You will receive a One Boston Day sticker for your donation. You can make your donation and pick up a sticker in the Office of Student Affairs (Rubenstein 003).
From 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, every mile run or walked on any of the treadmills in the Schumann Fitness Center will result in $1.00 being donated to the MR8 Foundation. For more information about the MR8 Foundation, visit http://www.teammr8.org/
Visit the Flanagan Campus Center (ground floor) to participate in a gratitude activity from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This event is being hosted by the Center for Student Engagement.
Paint your Pride
From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm you are invited to paint what Boston means to you. Supplies will be set up on the quad (rain location: Flanagan ground floor).
All day! Take a moment and show a random act of kindness toward another person. If you experience a random act, please tweet about it at #WITOneBostonDay
