Digital Accessibility Tools and Best PracticesLearn how to assess the digital accessibility of your course content and make incremental improvements that enable any student to study in the format that best suits their learning needs. A “personalized” approach to learning aids in reducing equity gaps that exist within diverse student populations and includes recognizing the diversity in learners’ abilities. Digital accessibility practices are essential for allowing students with documented disabilities to participate in equivalent experiences as their peers and fuels equity in learning by allowing students to access content in ways that are most beneficial to them. When content is accessible, “difference” becomes a strength, not a deficit.
